STC offers several “Plug&Play” solutions which are able to increase the efficiency of any existing lead acid battery recycling plant without causing too many structural modifications to the plant itself.
They are easy to construct, easy to deliver, easy to install.
One example is the Heavy Plastic Treatment System (HPTS): its function is the treatment of the Heavy Plastic fraction coming from Battery Breaking plants in order to obtain clean and dry PE separators in form of compact and stable pellets, easy to be handled and transported, reusable as fuel in many thermal processes (e.g. cement industry).
This technology is also able to separate the lead paste and metallic lead residues and to possibly recover additional types of plastic such as heavy PP fraction and ABS residues
