Water
The disinfection process consists in the removal or deactivation of pathogenic microorganisms and organic contaminants. The disinfection units offered by STC are based on the addition of physical or chemical disinfectants able to kill the virus and bacteria and to remain active in the water after treatment in order to prevent recontamination.
Among the main disinfection systems, STC may propose:
- Sodium Hypchlorite
- Chlorine dioxide
- Ozone
- Halogens
- Ultraviolet light (UV)
When chlorine-based chemicals are used for disinfection, a dichlorination system may be provided.
